Harry Copas’ diverse research-driven practice spans various disciplines; honing in on the essence of places and objects through installation, sound, video, and performance. Embracing impermanence, his practice thrives on accidental discoveries and transitory elements. Themes of care, humour, and play weave through his work, inviting viewers to craft their own interpretations. Born in Western Sydney, he is a graduate of UNSW Art and Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) and ACU, Bachelor of Teaching/Visual Arts. He currently lives and works in Germany, undertaking a Masters of Public Art and New Artistic Strategies at the Bauhaus Universität Weimar .
